While living in Toronto I had the honor and opportunity to begin practicing Hyoho Niten Ichi Ryu, a style of Kenjutsu classical Japanese swordsmanship.

It is a sword fighting technique developed and practiced by samurai, distinguished by sharp, dynamic techniques and use of two swords at once.

Miyamoto Musashi (1584-1645), founder of this style, was one of the greatest swordsmen and martial artists in Japanese history.
